STUDY OVERVIEW

At some point, doesn’t everyone wonder about our origin, the history of the earth, and how the universe itself came into existence?  The Book of Genesis begins with eternity past, and is the foundation from which all scripture originates and is given clarity and context.  Without it, some of the most important questions in life cannot be answered.  Why do bad things happen to good people? Why is there so much suffering in the world?  What is the purpose of life in general, and in my life specifically?  Is there even a God, and do we have evidence of His existence and His involvement in the lives of individuals?  

Genesis traces our roots all the way back to the beginning, giving us a glimpse of the beauty, love, and thought God put into the world He created for His people.  Genesis shows us the brilliant, strategic mind of God as we see His divine plan to reveal Himself to the world through one family.  We meet men and women just like us, who are greatly flawed but profoundly used by a God whose plan cannot be thwarted, whose covenants cannot be broken and whose Word can be trusted.  This is the original Author of life speaking to you about your beginning, and leading you confidently to your future.
